The Tenant creation step allows the Super Admin to give rights to Tenant Admins to manage and configure the Virtual Agent which can be leveraged to the end-users for their requests according to the organization’s needs.
The Tenant admin governs the License Subscription, 3rd Party integrations, User Management, and required configurations.
Pre-requisites to create a Tenant Admin:
URL of the Luma Virtual Agent Environment
Super Administrator Credentials: If you are an MSP partner or have an On-Premise Luma Virtual Agent Implementation, you would receive Super Administrator (Super Admin) credentials from the Serviceaide Support team.
Contract and Subscription information which holds the validity and method of the usage of Virtual Agent
Basic details of the Tenant Administrator which is required to create a Tenant account
Super admin needs to login to the application using the SuperAdmin credentials provided by default by the Serviceaide team for the first time. The SuperAdmins, who have already logged in and have changed their passwords, can log in to the application using the updated credentials.
With the above-mentioned Tenant Admin details acquired/captured, Super Admin can now create a Tenant Admin account for a specific organization after successfully logging into the application.
Tenant Admin account creation process:
Step 1: Click on the Create Tenant button provided on the Tenant management screen which is the landing screen after Super Admin logs in, into the application.
Step 2: Once clicked on the Create Tenant button, SuperAdmin will be redirected to the Tenant Creation screen which will allow them to create the Tenant Admin account. The first section is the Tenant details, which is as following:
Name: Provide the Tenant Admin name which would be shown to the Tenant, when logged in, into the Virtual Agent application. The name could either be the name of the Tenant Admin or also could be the name of the organization. The name can contain alphanumeric characters.
Tenant: This field is automatically populated when SuperAdmin enters the Tenant name. By default, it is the same as the Tenant name.
Tenant ID: The Tenant ID is auto-generated by the system. This is used to identify the Tenant in the Backend.
Symbol: The Symbol is used to identify the bot in the application. The symbol is prefixed in the code once generated which helps in easy identification of the bot. This needs to be unique.
Description: The description of the Tenant defines the Tenant details. It is used to identify the Tenant with details if SuperAdmin is not able to differentiate the Tenant on the list.
