End users can now schedule a meeting with an agent through Luma. This helps end users discuss an open ticket or any other details with an agent. You can schedule meetings with agents through Calendly. An Administrator or Developer can create a custom skill in the Skills Builder interface and set up the meeting account details in Calendly. Once this is done, the end user can schedule a meeting with the Agent, which is discussed below.
Calendly is a simple and easy meeting scheduling software. To use it, ensure that you signup with Calendly by providing your email address and set a password. An Administrator or Developer can setup the Calendly meeting account details after signup. To learn how to signup in Calendly and use it, refer https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/categories/203266887-Getting-Started. Once the signup is completed, login to your account and do the following:
An Administrator or Developer can create a custom skill in the Skills Builder interface to create a meeting request in Calendly, Outlook or Google. To do so:
In the Text Response section, provide details of the Calendly event type meeting URL using which end users can launch Calendly for your account and schedule a meeting request.
To test whether the Calendly URL provided is accurate, copy it and paste it in a web browser. If you are able to create the meeting request, then it is a valid URL, else, recheck and provide the correct URL details. |
Once the custom skill is created in the Skills Builder, you can chat with Luma to schedule a meeting with the Agent as shown below. Luma responds with the Calendly event type meeting link (provided in the Text Response section in a skill described previously) to launch Calendly and create the meeting event. Click the meeting link and follow the steps mentioned in Schedule a Calendly Meeting from Luma section.
