Active Directory Synchronization

The ADSync Utility helps you download user data from an LDAP server to Serviceaide Intelligent Service Management. The utility is primarily used to import information such as users and their organizations. This utility does not import passwords into the application database. The synchronization can be scheduled at frequencies that are suitable to you.

The Active Directory synchronization eliminates the necessity to manage a separate database of users. When a user is added or removed from domain, the utility automatically synchronizes the information with Intelligent Service Management.

Note: The ADSync utility is tested only on Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory.
