Edit Comment
Click the Edit Comment option to add details about the running instance of a workflow and the purpose of running the instance.
View Instance Status
View Instance Status displays the status of an instance and gives you a preview of the workflow. It also, highlights the current step and the status of the step. For example: If the instance status is running, the current step is highlighted in green. If the instance status is failed the current step is highlighted in red.
Follow these steps:
- Navigate to WORKSPACES, AUTOMATION, Automation Center, WORKSPACES> AUTOMATION> Automation Center> Home.
- Click the drop- down icon in the far left column.
- Select View Instance Status.
Instance Status
The Instance Status displays the following information about an instance:

The Instance status table also displays details such as the Workflow Solution, Status, Progress, Current Step, Initiator, Start Date/Time, End Date/Time, Global Inputs, and Comment. You can also view the workflow diagram with the current step highlighted in green. You can also view the Input and Output parameters for each step by clicking the plus icon.
History
The History tab lets you view details about the last update date and time of the instance. You can also view by whom the instance was last updated.
Other Instances
The Other Instances tab displays a list of similar instances in reverse chronological order for the last five days. You can view and monitor the progress of similar instances which are derived from the same workflow. The table contains the following information:

Run New Instance
Run New Instance lets you create an instance directly from an existing instance on the homepage.
Follow these steps:
- Navigate to WORKSPACES, AUTOMATION, WORKSPACES> AUTOMATION> Automation Center, click Home. Select an instance, and click Run New Instance from the Instance Status Menu.
- Specify the workflow input parameters that you require. For example, New Instance Name, New Instance Size, AMID.
Note: AMID displays the unique identifier of the Amazon instance. - Click Run
A new workflow instance is launched and a new Instance Id is generated.
