How to Promote Configuration Item as an Affected Service
Description:
This Document will give you instructions on how to promote Configurations as an Affected services
Issue
Even after creating the configuration items those are not displaying under Affected services section.
Cause
This configuration will be decided by a Configuration parameter "SLA_BUSINESS_SERVICES_IDENTIFIER_CLASSES".
Resolution
Add appropriate Class of configuration item form "categorizations " into "SLA_BUSINESS_SERVICES_IDENTIFIER_CLASSES " configuration parameter.
Example: if you want to use Network configuration items as a affected services then add Appropriate Class "network" to Configuration parameter
By default, this parameter will contain only "services" as class, you can add other classes separated by a coma (,)
