Once the Automation workflow is created, the developer can execute the workflow and verify that it works as expected. Luma Automation allows the developers to test the workflow without the need to add it to a skill.

To test a workflow, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to the Workflow Builder.

  2. On the required workflow, click on the ‘Execute’ button.

  3. On the Execute Workflow screen, add values to the Workflow Input Parameters.

  4. Click on Execute.

The workflow is executed and a trigger id is generated. All the tasks configured as part of the workflow are executed based on the input parameters. The workflow trigger id can be used to view the workflow execution history.
