Build and Publish process is used to train the bot on conversations and Skills designed on Luma VAin Bot Builder. It ensures that Luma VA Virtual Agent understands the user request intent and processes it the services as requested.
The Build and Publish process allows publishing any new changes made to Skills or and Attributes , and to make them available to for the Botend-users. The activity process must be run in the following scenarios:
Creation of a Skill
Changes to User Phrases on Skills
New Attribute (global) created
Value, Synonym, and Regex Changes to an Attribute
Updates to Small Talk and System Skill
Change the Skill status to Active or Inactive Inactive.

You may also see the pending items in the Skill Builder list and Attribute List with Pending for Publishing status. Any of the aforementioned updates are not available for users until they are published. |
To Build & Publish the changes, follow the below steps:
Go to the left navigation pane and then select Navigate to Build and Publish.
Click Build & Publish buttonon the Build & Publish screen.
The execution Execution status changes to In Progress. The indicator on the left navigation changes from Red to Blue meaning from Pending to In Progress, which represents Ongoing Build and Publish activity.
Once the process is completed, a success message is displayed.
Updated Skills or Attributes are ready for use.
A toast message is displayed to you when Note: All the Build and Publish process is Started and Completed. The indicator on the left navigation changes to the 'Blue' dot, which represents Ongoing Build and Publish activity. status are updated via toast messages- Start, In progress, Complete.Once Build and Publish is complete, you will be notified about the process status via the toast message. You can continue to make changes on the skill builder while the Build and Publish process is In Progress.
