This article describes how to set up the My Tickets portlet.

Modify the wasp Probe

Add the URL of your CA Cloud Service Management instance and the slice token to the wasp probe.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Infrastructure Manager.
  2. Click the robot for the primary hub in the tree view.
  3. Select the wasp probe.
  4. Press CTRL and right-click, and then select Raw Configure from the popup menu.
  5. Expand the webapps folder in the tree view of the Raw Configure window.
  6. Click servicedesk in the right pane.
  7. Click the url key to select it, and then click the Edit Key button.
  8. Enter the URL of the CA Cloud Service Management instance in the Enter new value field.
    The URL format is as follows:
    https://direct-sm1t.saas.ca.com/servicedesk
    for Trial US Datacenter
    OR, https://direct-sm1.saas.ca.com/servicedesk for Production US Datacenter
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click the slice_token key, and then click the Edit Key button.
  11. Enter the value for the slice_token setting in the Enter new value field.

The slice_token is a key that is generated automatically when a CA Cloud Service Management instance is provisioned. To view your slice token, log in to CA Cloud Service Management and navigate to MANAGE, Administration, Tools, Slice Configuration.

Add My Tickets Portlet

Create a page in the Infrastructure Manager and add the My Tickets portlet to the page.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Infrastructure Manager and create a page.
  2. Open the new page, click Add Portlet, Monitoring, and select My Tickets.

The My Tickets portlet is added to the page that you created.
