At times, you might have already tested content in one Bot and want to move the content to another Bot like from Staging environment to Production environment.
Luma Bot builder application provides Export and Import feature which enables you to export Custom Skills, OOTB Skills, Default System skills, and Small talk without having the need to recreate the content in the target Bot.
Exporting Skills
The Export process allows us to export All specific or Specific all custom Skills that are available in your Tenant.
I. To Export All Skills, follow the below steps:
Navigate In the Source environment, navigate to Export& Import
Click Export on the Export & Import page
Select Skills under Skill Builder option
Click Export. The Skills will be All the custom skills available in the bot are downloaded in a .zip file on your local computer.
II. To Export Specific Skills, follow the below steps:
Click Skill Builder on the Bots menu on the left navigation panel.
Select the Skills you want to export by clicking the checkbox
Click the Under more options icon and then click Export , select Export
On the confirmation message, click Export Selected. To export all skills in your bot, select Export All.
The selected Skills will be downloaded in a .zip file on your local computer.

Importing Skills
The Import process allows you to Import the Skills to import the .zip file (generated in the above step) and create the Skills and related entities in the target system.
Follow the below steps to import the fileskills:
In the Target environment, navigate to Export& Import.
Browse and select the exported file and the file name will automatically be populatedzip file.
Click Import and select Yes to confirm the Import process. The Import status is displayed once the Import process starts.
Upon completion of the Import process,
the selected skills and related entities are imported into the target bot.
Run Build and Publish to make the skill available in the Virtual Agent.
Your Skills are now ready for use in the Target system bot without recreating the same.
