How Serviceaide Automation works
Serviceaide Automation enables Workflow designers to define cross-enterprise processes that can execute tasks at the target system. Each Workflow process definition consists of a sequence of Tasks, connected through paths that are evaluated during workflow executions.
Automation Workflows can be triggered via any of the integrated systems such as Luma Virtual Agent, Intelligent Service Management system etc,
following is the representation of how automation works via Luma Virtual Agent:
- Based on the user's request, Luma invokes the matching skill.
- The skill collects the data required to execute the task from the end-user.
- The automation added as a step in the skill's conversation flow is triggered.
- The Automation workflow executes intelligent workflow-driven tasks.
- Based on the Response received after completing the execution of the automation task, the automation workflow updates the status of the tasks in the user’s conversation channel.
When a workflow is triggered, the system creates a process execution instance of the defined process. During execution, the system evaluates each step defined in the workflow. The system iterates through each task until the workflow end is reached, which means that the process execution is complete.
