Integration Apps in Luma Automation
In Serviceaide Automation, Business workflows are built using Integrations Apps. The Apps are used to connect with your organization-specific systems to execute tasks at the target system. The Automation workflows are orchestrated to automate end-to-end business processes that may connect to multiple Apps to achieve an outcome. The operations are linked in the sequence of the task execution based on certain conditions.
Serviceaide Automation supports the following integration Apps:
Mule Apps
REST Apps
Mule Apps
These are the business workflows developed using Mulesoft connectors. Workflow developers develop the connectors using Anypoint studio.
Anypoint studio provides the tools needed to build operations using APIs, implement data and application flows. It accelerates workflow implementation with prebuilt modules for common integration requirements — including querying backend systems, routing events, business transformation logic, and error handling. These operations are reusable and can be added to your business-specific workflows. For example, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, etc.
The Mulesoft Apps developed in Anypoint studio, can be imported and deployed into your automation tenant.
Mulesoft Apps can integrate with Systems and Microservices that may not support the RESTFUL protocol.
The Mulesoft Apps are developed and configured by the Operations team. You may contact the Serviceaide Support team to develop and deploy connectors in your tenant.
Luma Automation provides a few out-of-the-box Apps and Operations that may be used in your Workflow. For a complete list, refer to Out-of-the-box Mulesoft Connectors.
REST Apps
These are the custom Apps that can be built to connect to your organization-specific third-party systems. Serviceaide Automation allows you to automate complex business processes in your organization. You can create custom operations that can integrate with your 3rd party systems and execute tasks in the target system. Using the Workflow designer, you can define and connect a series of operations that are required to execute a business process.
REST Apps and operations are configured on the Integration workspace. Workflow Developers can simply drag these operations on the Workflow designer and build complex business processes that may include multiple endpoints across different technologies.
