Now we will learn how to export complete Bot which includes, Bot configurations, Tenant Configurations, Custom Skills and Attributes, and OOTB Skills, and import to another Bot. a complete bot from one bot to another.
Luma Bot builder application provides an Export and Import feature which that enables you to export these without having your setup, configurations, and other details from one bot to another bot, without the need to recreate the content in the target Bot.
Export Process
The Export process allows us to export the complete Bot or specific components of the Bot that are available in your Tenant.
I. . Using the feature, you can export and import specific components such as Bot configurations, Tenant Configurations, Custom Skills and Attributes, Integrations, System Skills, Follow-ups, etc, or the complete bot.
Export Process
To start Export the Bot, follow the below steps:
In the Source environment, navigate to Export & Import
Click Export on the Export & Import page
Select the components which you want to export. Select Complete bot to export all the components.
Click Export. All the components
The selected components and related entities will be downloaded in a .zip file on your local computer.

Import Process
The Import process allows you to import the .zip file (generated in the above step) and import all the components of the Bot in the target system.
Follow the below steps to import the skillsfile:
In the Target environment, navigate to Export & Import.
Browse and select the exported zip file.
Click Import and select Yes to confirm the Import. The Import status is displayed once the Import process starts.
Upon completion of the Import process, the selected components are imported into the target bot.
Run Build and Publish to make the skills available in the Virtual Agent.
In case of an error in the Import History section, click on the record to view the detailed logs or summary of the import process.
Some components such as Skills, Attributes, Small talk require ‘Build and Publish’ to make them available in the Virtual Agent. Run Build and Publish for the changes to take effect.
