Central Repository

Introduction

Serviceaide offers Luma Virtual Agent, Luma Knowledge, Integrated Service Management suite of products. These products serve different purposes and when integrated, these will be helpful in assisting the user with various other functionalities. Customers can purchase these products either individually or as a package depending on the business requirements. Central Repository is required to map all the Tenants from various Serviceaide products and provide seamless access to all the application from within each other during Skill execution

What is Central Repository

Central Repository allows you to map the Tenants from various applications with each other so that the end-users while executing the skills in the Virtual Agent, can access multiple applications. As a Super Administrator, you can associate the tenants in these products using Central Repository thereby enabling the end-users to access information seamlessly across multiple systems. It allows products like Luma Virtual Agent, Luma Knowledge facilitates association of tenants and provides the end-user with handy information. When a customer is subscribed to multiple products with Serviceaide, a unique Tenant ID is created in each product.

Central Repository is only available for Super Administrators in Luma Virtual Agent.

Steps to Create a Tenant Association

To create a Tenant association in Central Repository, follow the below steps.

  1. Login into the Central repository system with Super Administrator Credentials.

  2. The home screen displays the customer accounts where the tenant association between different products that belong to a customer is shown.

    Here, Super Administrator can also search for a particular record in the search bar using any of the values such as Customer ID, Customer Name, Luma Virtual Agent Tenant ID, and Luma Knowledge Tenant ID, Luma Decision Engine Tenant

  3. Click on New, to create an association between the various applications of the same Tenant.
    Enter Customer Name and select details for Luma Virtual Agent Tenant, Luma Knowledge Tenant, and Luma Decision Engine Tenant which are mandatory. You can enter Customer ID or the System will automatically generate in case you do not enter the ID.

    Click on the Create button to complete the tenant association.

  4. The Users Association is now initiated automatically. The process links the user accounts from the associated tenants so that the end-users can access information from both systems.

  5. Click on Refresh to see the correlation job execution status along with the list of users from the associated tenants. Here, You can view the Start and End time along with the Run time and Duration of the last successful run.
    Following details are available on the user’s list:
    Username: Displays the names of all users from both the tenant.
    Luma Virtual Agent User ID: Displays the userID in Luma Virtual Agent.
    Luma Knowledge User ID: Displays the userID in Luma Knowledge.
    Created On: Displays the date and time when the association was created.
    Last Modified: Displays the date and time when the association record was last modified.

  6. Click on View Trace Log to view information about the events that were triggered during the User Correlation process. We can view the count of contact records fetched from associated systems.

Information with regard to the processing and completion of the correlation along with the number of records found in each application is displayed in the log information.

  • Periodical Synchronization of User information in the associated tenants happens automatically for every minute.

  • Unless the data synchronization is complete, the user cannot access the information in another associated tenant.
