Presentation Templates

With Knowledge and Catalogs available through Luma VA, end-users can access Knowledge Article and Catalogs along with Skills. The startup skill, configured on the Conversation Startup configuration screen, defines how and when the results should be presented to the end user. A skill developer uses the constructs such as Display Knowledge, Display Catalog and Display Skills to build a presentation flow. Each of these constructs uses the Presentation templates to present the associated entity with appropriate messages in the card carousel.

The Presentation Templates in Luma VA are used to define how Knowledge articles, Skills, and catalogs are displayed to the end user. In this section, you configure the messages and layout of the card that displays the results. These global configurations are automatically used in the ‘Display…’ constructs.

The presentation template configurations are global and are applied directly to the skill. Changes to the global template are reflected in the skills that use global presentation templates.

However, the configurations can be customized for a specific skill and can be over written. Once customized, the configurations are local to the skill and can be updated directly in the skill. any change the global template does not impact the skill.

The following Global Templates are available in the section:
