Register Users through Email

When a new user chats with Luma through any supported channel, then Luma displays the welcome skills to the user. To register a user through out-of-the-box system skills, do the following:

1. Select the user registration system skill to register in Luma or continue as a guest as shown below.
   

   Note

   Ensure that before continuing with the registration process, administrator has registered the user in Luma by following the process specified in Manage Users in Luma#CreateNewUsers. The email address provided by the administrator while creating a new user can only be used for registration, since an email is sent for verification.

2. On entering the username, Luma sends an email to the registered email address of the user for verification as shown below.
   
3. Click the verification link to complete the registration process.

Once the user registration is complete, you can send messages to your Bot user and receive responses from your Luma Virtual Agent.
