Quick Start Guide for Administrators

This section of the wiki contains guidance to walk you through setting up and using Intelligent Service Management to get up and running quickly. This section is available in English only at this time.
The suggested order of steps is listed below and detailed in this guide.

  1. Validate your Login and Slice: This is the first step towards using your new Intelligent Service Management slice. If you have received your welcome email from Serviceaide, you are ready to test your login.
  2. Know where to find help: Understand where to go for product help including within the product and other sites.
  3. Data Loading: Understanding what initial data to load into Intelligent Service Management to get started, and how that data will behave in the system.
  4. Configure Email.
  5. Self Service Users: Enable self-service users to open tickets for help or request for services from a web browser or a mobile phone.
  6. Analyst Interface: Use the documentation wiki to explore the different options available to analysts working in Intelligent Service Management.
  7. Service Level Targets: Review the service level targets that are active with Intelligent Service Management, and map out your own business requirements.
  8. Understand Ticket Workflows: Review how Intelligent Service Management manages tickets out of the box and map the process to your business. Gaps will be addressed by creating new ticket workflows or modifying existing ones.
  9. Reporting.
